The sculpture's shape is inspired by the curvature of the stellator chamber, the experimental nucleosynthesis facility, the most complex design of all ever created by man. It's an attempt to envision a future where stellators will be used inall walks of life and will make space space exploration closer. The name comes from the Latin "stella," which means "star." Perhaps this particular sculpture will be the symbol of the invention that will give to mankind an inexhaustible source of clean energy, capable of sending spaceships to distant stars.
